What We Create/ Product Demo Videos

Show the thing working. Sell the thing.

Volkswagen Australia · Famous Nutrition · Body Catalyst

A product demo has the most honest job in video: show the thing working, clearly enough that the viewer can imagine using it. Done lazily it becomes a spec sheet with music. Done properly — real hands, real use, macro detail, light that flatters without lying — it is often the highest-converting film a product brand owns, because it answers the question every buyer is silently asking.

We have shot demos across the range the format covers: vehicle features for Volkswagen Australia, a kids' protein product for Famous Nutrition, and wellness equipment for Body Catalyst. The discipline is the same at every scale — decide the one thing the film must prove, build the shot list around proving it, and keep the runtime tight enough that nobody scrolls before the point lands. Captured in 6K so packshots and macro detail hold up anywhere from a web page to a retail screen.

Proof on the reel

What the format covers

The work, up front

01

The hero demo

The definitive film of the product in use — 30 to 90 seconds, benefit-led, with the macro and detail coverage that makes the thing feel worth its price.

02

Feature films

Short single-feature cuts — one function, one proof, 15 to 30 seconds — built for product pages, paid ads and retargeting.

03

E-commerce & listing sets

Versioned deliverables for marketplaces and product pages: square and vertical crops, silent-safe cuts with supers, and lengths to each platform's spec.

04

Packshot & studio table-top

Controlled studio work — the rotating pack, the pour, the close-up — shot alongside the demo so the whole asset set comes from one day.

What it costs

Typically a standard day from $850 + standard edits from $200 each

FAQ

Product Demo Videos — questions

How long should a product demo run?

As short as the proof allows. Most land between 30 and 60 seconds — long enough to show the product doing its job, short enough that the viewer never has to decide whether to keep watching.

Do you shoot in a studio or on location?

Both, chosen by what sells the product. Table-top and packshot work runs in controlled studio light; anything that needs context — a vehicle, a venue, equipment in use — is shot where it lives.

Can one shoot cover the hero demo and the ad cutdowns?

Yes, and it should. The shot list is built so the hero film, the single-feature cuts and the vertical ads all come from the same setups — one day, a full asset stack.

We have a whole product range. Does each one need its own shoot?

Usually not. Range days are planned like batches — shared setups, per-product hero moments — which is dramatically cheaper per SKU than one shoot each. Bring the range list to the call and we'll plan the day around it.
